<p>In some of the stranger news today, if you've got a NES Classic Mini and a Nintendo Switch, you'll be able to wrangle up some fun outside of your routine Zelda-playing.</p><p>According to Gizmodo, some clever-clogs has figured out that the Nintendo Switch's Joy-Con controllers can actually work with PCs and smartphones as they connect via Bluetooth. One business has gone a step further and actually synced it up with the NES Mini, banishing its only, controller-based, flaw.</p><p>With 8Bitdo's wireless retro receiver adapter you've got an odd-but-cool experience at your fingertips. Costing $17, the adapter apparently works with most Bluetooth gamepads so you can use them with the NES Classic Mini, but today 8Bitdo released a firmware update which allows Joy-Cons into the mix.</p><p>If you don't like the Joy-Cons, this might not interest you much, but getting rid of any controller lead is good news. However, the update also works for the Switch's Pro Controller, so if you'd bought one of those, at least you'll get a little more for your money.</p><p>For those who don't have a Switch or an NES Mini, sorry for reminding you about the terrible stock issues. Trust me, though, I'm keeping my eye open for any news on that front.</p><p>Old School RuneScape is set to receive a whopping expansion which adds a new city, quest, and deeply nasty group boss. The latest batch of content for the PC and mobile MMORPG was announced at RuneFest 2019 in Farnborough on Saturday.</p><p>The Morytania expansion will kick open the gates of the vampyre city of Darkmeyer. Within its darkened, creepy alleys, you’ll find many a new activity, as well as a high-level agility course on which to test your mettle.</p>
