This one's an idle game where you'll be challenged to merge different types of creatures known as "Nommies".</p><p>Much like the sweet-toothed Om Nom, the Nommies are big fans of fruit and 'everything else yummy'. So when a sudden abundance of fruit appears across the land, they're more than happy to head out and chow down.</p><p>The basic gameplay requires you to merge two similar Nommies in order to create new, more powerful creatures. The better the Nommie, the faster they can eat fruit and gain extra rewards for doing so. As it's an idle game, you'll be earning neat stuff even when the app is closed. The game is set in what is said to be 'beautiful forest locations'. In order to keep the visuals somewhat fresh, changing seasons will have an impact on each level's look.</p><p>Square Enix has soft-launched Lara Croft: Relic Run on the Netherlands App Store. When ready, it will be launched globally on iOS, Android, and Windows Phone.</p><p>As you might predict, Relic Run is a 3D runner that can be easily compared to Temple Run, albeit with added Lara Croft.</p><p>It does bear some other differences, of course, some of which you might argue make Relic Run a little more action-packed than even Temple Run.</p><p>Other than swiping Lara across three lanes, over pits and through swinging blades (and into the path of coins), you sometimes need to tap to shoot enemies before they hurt her.</p><p>There are also moments in which you need to wall run, jump over pits, and drive vehicles. And all of it is tied together with slow-motion set-pieces that emphasize how close Lara gets to death.
