Viva la Toast（MOD (Unlimited Money) v0.5.0）

Wizcorp has taken Striker Arena, that's the violent turn-based football game it teased us with previously, over to Kickstarter. Have at it, if you want to.

If you recall, Striker Arena takes place on a distant planet where ancient tribes settle their differences with a bout of indoor footie.

What we didn't know before was that Striker Arena is intended as a two player game. Yep, it's designed for you and a friend to play it on a single tablet.

You start by picking whether you want to be Vikings or Gladiators and then have a scrap for the winner.

I'm not kidding when I say "scrap", either. There is no such thing as a foul in Striker Arena, so anything goes. You can even punch out another player for a few turns if you're able to.

Oh yeah, I should mention that it's turn-based for the most part. Wizcorp does note that there are some moves that turn the game real-time for a little while, though.

Everything you do in Striker Arena is controlled by taps and swipes. You only need to swipe to shoot and pass, otherwise you'll be tapping to move and intercept your opponent.

Wizcorp is currently looking for $5,000 on Kickstarter to bring Striker Arena to iPad. However, there are stretch goals for other platforms, including Android tablets at $5,500.

Another good stretch goal is cross-platform online multiplayer at $9,000. While a Vita version sits far away at $25,000.

You're not able to get a copy of Striker Arena by pledging to the Kickstarter, but you can help decide what will be added to the game.
.
