<p>First launched back in 2018 for PC, Vilmonic is an artificial life sim where you'll be tasked with cultivating creatures that can then, with your guidance and care, evolve. It's incredibly interesting but also incredibly layered, perhaps to the point where it risks putting off as many as it draws in.</p><p>Make no mistake, though, that's not a slight against what Bludgeonsoft has crafted here. It's by all accounts a singular experience that rewards creativity and commitment above all else. Once you've got the hang of the basics (and I don't just mean the controls), a sandbox world of borderline endless experiments awaits.</p>.
